A Recap White Paper from Sessions at the 14th Annual Billington CyberSecurity Summit, September 5–9, 2023
At the Billington Cybersecurity Conference in September, Microsoft hosted four expert breakout sessions focused on identity management (one of core principles of zero trust) and its importance in creating and sustaining a zero-trust framework within an organization’s digital ecosystem. Beyond the wires and the hardware, business and operational networks incorporate a range of “things” that must be identified, understood, managed, and continuously evaluated and authenticated to protect against today’s threats most effectively. During these sessions, a host of exceptional “musts” were discussed to help organizations think about identity management and maximizing its use to not only improve cybersecurity but also improve the overall business value of any network.
