A data treasure-trove containing often both financial and healthcare data resides in healthcare organizations, making them prime targets for hackers, nation states and other malicious actors. From Anthem to Primera, healthcare organizations remain a highly vulnerable sector. In a KPMG report issued this week, in fact, 82% of healthcare organizations surveyed had suffered a cyber attack in the past 2 years. We need to step up our focus on this key sector of our economy.
